GREENVILLE YOUTH CROSS-CULTURAL LEADERSHIP COUNCIL

As part of Justice Intervention Initiative. youth component known as GYCCLC  we are inviting you to take part in a life changing experience by participating in the Greenville Youth Cross-Cultural Leadership Council (GYCCLC). The objectives of the Council are: 

• Educate the youth of Greenville County between the ages of 14-21 years of age about the value of cross-cultural relationships. 
• Foster on-going understanding of differences among race, class, and ethnicity.
• Embrace cultural differences to build productive relationships rather than to create barriers in the community. 
• Aim to improve communications among youth as it relates to  justice, race, class, and ethnicity
• Address and introduce diversity to youth during this stage of development will influence and help shape the future of race relations in Greenville County.
• Promote a youth public safety platform: Greenville Youth Conflict Intervention Initiative
